How do you prioritize recommendations?

There are 7 different concern types you can set to customize your preferences. These enable us to share the most relevant recommendations and a “for you” feed based on your concerns.

1. Account security - protect your accounts from unauthorized access or hacking, with standard precautions like unique passwords and two-factor authentication.

2. Account separation - maintain digital identities and accounts set up for distinct purposes and audiences, for example, public and professional versus personal.

3. Child safety - for parents and guardians, concerns about child safety and wellness online may include screen time and digital addiction, bullying, stranger danger, and exposure to inappropriate content.

4. Data misuse - encompasses both targeted attacks with direct harms, such as fraud, impersonation, and identity theft, and other abuses of your data, like spam and invasive advertising.

5. Digital wellness - ensures your relationship with technology is a positive one, with appropriate limits on screen time, content and interactions that negatively impact mental health.

6. Online abuse - also referred to as harassment or online violence, online abuse includes behaviors like bullying, creepiness, attacks using deep fakes, dogpiling, and impersonation.

7. Physical safety - for the physical safety of your person; guard against threats like doxxing and stalking – particularly if domestic violence is a concern.
